The question is: What can you do as a single bishop, priest or church leader? I leave you with a few suggestions:

  1. Continue effective humanitarian aid;
  2. Demand economic development be done differently;
  3. Integrate the poor into networks of productivity & exchange;
  4. Promote trade not aid;
  5. Invest in local SME companies;
  6. Participate in or create an SME collateral fund.
